Celebrating the Legacy of Jim Henson with Craig Shemin & Karen Falk

Craig Shemin and Karen Falk celebrate the work and legacy of Jim Henson and the 70th Anniversary of The Muppets, offering behind-the-scenes photos and anecdotes about the creation of the Muppets and the making of the company’s first feature film. They will also be showing some of Jim Henson’s early short films from The Jim Henson Company Archives. Craig Shemin is President of The Jim Henson Legacy and former writer for The Jim Henson Company, and Karen Falk is Director of Archives for The Jim Henson Company. The talk and Q&A is followed by a screening of The Muppet Movie (1979).
Beloved by all ages, The Muppet Movie contains masterful puppetry and practical effects.
Tickets: $15 + $2.25 fee. Fee is waived for cash sales.
