Telling Inclusive Stories through Oral Histories

Did you know that Connecticut residents have free tools to record their own stories? Learn how to tell your story and record those of your family, friends, and community members. America 250 | CT Commission identified “Telling Inclusive Stories” as one of their four themes for this year’s Semiquincentennial, and preserving oral histories is an important way to tell the fullest picture of America’s history.

Join us for a panel discussion featuring Fiona Vernal, Kate Schramm, and Lyle Cairdeas, who will each guide our understanding of how to make and use oral histories. Free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided.
