DOWNTOWN BRIDGEPORT SELECTED FOR CT MAIN STREET CENTER’S 2025 MAIN STREET ACCELERATOR

BRIDGEPORT, CT – DECEMBER 12, 2024 – The Bridgeport Downtown Special Services District (DSSD) is excited to announce that Downtown Bridgeport has been chosen to participate in the Connecticut Main Street Center’s (CMSC) signature downtown leadership program. During the virtual, six-month program, the Bridgeport DSSD will collaborate with Groundwork Bridgeport, as well as with the Bridgeport Arts + Cultural Council and the City of Bridgeport’s Office of Planning & Economic Development on applying the nationally proven Four Point Approach to Main Street Management to create an entrepreneurial ecosystem in support of downtown businesses that complement the neighborhood’s identity.
