Aunt Spazz Wreck & Escape Room Opens in Downtown Bridgeport

The Bridgeport Downtown Special Services District welcomed Aunt Spazz, a first of its kind recreational escape and wreck room, to the neighborhood this afternoon. Aunt Spazz owners Mercedes and Jasmine Miller, who co-own the business with their three (3) sisters, Rayneca, Nicola, and Erin, who represent Sistas LLC doing business as “Aunt Spazz” were joined by members of the Downtown Bridgeport community to officially open their doors at 40 Fairfield Avenue.

A wreck room can be considered a therapeutic space where an individual can destroy objects for entertainment. An escape room encourages individuals to use skills like critical thinking and team building. The objective of the game is to escape the room before time runs out.
