DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, December 12 at 5:00PM Eastern for our final installment of The 1619 Project: Community Conversations. \nThere are many grievances regarding the actions taken by the current administration—too many to list individually. Many of you view our bookstore as a safe space to express your concerns and fears. In response\, we have been active listeners and have provided support in various forms. \nTo help galvanize our voices\, we’ve launched Community Conversations\, a monthly gathering to discuss the impact of current events. Using The 1619 Project as our guide\, we will focus on the themes of each chapter to deepen our understanding of what is happening and how we can better equip ourselves during this challenging time. Where possible\, we will have subject matter experts to lead the discussions\, but we will also rely on each other’s insights.

They are known for their full lush harmonies with all 6 members as vocalists\, recreating the iconic vocals of the Eagles. \n“Echoes of the Eagles zeros in on duplicating the vocal blend of the Eagles “. – NY Newsday \nECHOES OF THE EAGLES have been playing to packed houses including performances at the famous My Father’s Place in Roslyn\, NY. Both concerts sold out weeks before the show and they sold out the legendary Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett for both their shows this summer\, now becoming their annual summer opener and closer of the summer season! \nAt The Warehouse L.I. Music Venue in Amityville\, the band sells out all table reservations\, a week in advance and the same at 89 North Music Venue in Patchogue. \nTheir 2024 show at the 250 seat theater at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Library had all 250 tickets gone the day they were released\, a month in advance of the show! \nTheir Jones Beach Bandshell show this summer attracted the largest crowd ( approx. 4\,000) of the year by far reported by the promoter and park officials. In September they headlined the Fire Fest 3 Music Festival in Mystic CT. \nUpcoming N.Y. shows include returning to My Father’s Place\, The Warehouse L.I. Music Venue in Amityville\, the Bijou Theatre in Bridgeport Connecticut\, in Mystic\, CT and the famous Cutting Room NYC.
