How to Run for DSSD Commissioner training session

Hey Colorful Bridgeport community! Are you looking to get more involved in Downtown Bridgeport? Each year, the DSSD Board of Commissioners elects property owners and leaseholders to serve a three-year term, overseeing the ways in which we bolster the sense of culture and community in Downtown Bridgeport through our friendly team of Ambassadors who keep the district clean and safe, Colorful Bridgeport marketing, events, and the Color It In public art program.

If you are a property owner or leaseholder in Downtown Bridgeport and are interested in learning more, please join us at our How to Run for DSSD Commissioner training session on January 27th at 12pm, both in person at the DSSD office and on Zoom. In the training session, we will give an overview of what the Bridgeport DSSD is and the services it offers, who is eligible for the Board of Commissioners, what’s involved with serving on the board, and the elections process.
