Felicia & Kalliope Comedy

Felicia Madison is an accomplished stand-up comedian, writer, producer, and Creative Director of West Side Comedy Club in New York City. Her comedy special, Better Than Sex, is available on Apple TV, Amazon, and YouTube, and she was featured on ABC’s America’s Funniest People. Her one-woman show, The Miserable Mrs. Madison, debuted at the Fringe Festival, and she is currently developing her next special, Queenager. Throughout her career, she has shared the stage with some of comedy’s biggest names, including Zarna Garg, Jessica Kirson, Rachel Feinstein, T.J. Miller, Bill Burr, Elon Gold, Modi, Jordan Carlos, and many others.

As a child, Felicia dreamed of becoming a Broadway dancer, but her parents had other plans. Encouraged to pursue a more traditional career, she attended the University of Pennsylvania as a pre-med student. Although she followed the practical path, the performer in her never disappeared. After raising her family and with her children beginning to leave the nest, Felicia found herself searching for what came next. While exploring new interests, a friend convinced her to try a stand-up comedy class. She reluctantly agreed, walked on stage for the first time, and instantly fell in love. What began as a chance experience quickly became the career she had been waiting for all along. She took the leap into stand-up comedy and proved that it’s never too late to rewrite your story.

That same passion for discovering potential extends beyond the stage. As Creative Director of West Side Comedy Club, Felicia has helped grow one of New York City’s premier comedy venues while mentoring and developing the next generation of comedians through New York Comedy Classes. She believes comedy is a craft that can be taught, nurtured, and refined, and she is passionate about creating opportunities for new voices to find their confidence and their audience.

Today, Felicia performs regularly throughout New York and across the country while continuing to write and develop new projects, including her upcoming special, Queenager. When she’s not on stage or at the club, she’s happily embracing her newest role as a devoted dog mom to Milo, her lovable Cavapoo, who has quickly become the true star of the household.

Kalliope Barlis is a New York City stand-up comedian, former professional golfer, and three-time best-selling author.
