Join the Freeman Center’s curator for this series of casual cultural conversations! Bi-weekly gatherings on the first and third Thursday of the month from 5:00-7:00pm based on the works featured in our current exhibit, Turning Tides: Little Liberia & the Black Atlantic.
Thursday, April 16th: Asé Selah’s powerful installation Indigo Dreams and Ayanna Legros’ 5 crafted glass bottle sculptures will guide us to an understanding of the Black Atlantic, Little Liberia’s relationship to it, and what it means for us at this present moment.
