Bridgeport Speaks: Legislative Session Forum

This community conversation is focused on the outcomes of the 2026 legislative session and what those decisions mean for Bridgeport families, students, educators, and taxpayers.

This forum will provide an opportunity to hear directly from members of the Bridgeport Legislative Delegation regarding accomplishments from the recently concluded legislative session, upcoming priorities, and issues impacting our community. We will also hear from the School + State Finance Project regarding statewide education funding discussions and expectations for the next fiscal year.
Participating legislators are expected to include Senator Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox, Senator Herron Gaston, Representative Christopher Rosario, Representative Antonio Felipe, Representative Marcus Brown, Representative Fred Gee, Representative Steve Stafstrom, Representative Cristin McCarthy Vahey, and Representative Andre Baker Jr.
