Bridgeport Public Library Presents: Connecticut Bassist Steve Clarke

Join us for a special musical program featuring Connecticut bassist Steve Clarke as he performs his unique renditions of classic R&B, Pop, and Jazz favorites from the 1960s and 1970s.

Steve will bring new life to timeless songs by artists such as The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Carole King, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, and many others. In this engaging performance, the bass guitar takes center stage, playing both the melodies and the solos, showcasing the instrument in a way audiences may not have experienced before.

Following the performance, Steve will invite the audience to participate in a Q&A session, where he will share stories about his musical journey; how he first began playing music, his experience releasing 10 independent CDs on his own label, and performing on tour throughout Europe.
