The Bridgeport DSSD Opens Nominations for Board of Commissioner Candidates

The Bridgeport Downtown Special Services District’s (DSSD) Board of Commissioners annually elects property owners and leaseholders for a three-year term. The Commissioner Nomination Form that was open to all property owners and leaseholders interested in running for a board seat to begin in fiscal year 2027 (July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027) closed on April 3, 2026.

The verified candidates who will be included on the 2026 Annual Meeting ballot are listed in the candidate guide, accessible here. All members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Ursa (245 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604).
