In this guide, we wanted to highlight the ways that you can “love your local” shop or restaurant while maintaining safe social distancing practices. On Monday, March 16, Gov. Ned Lamont announced an ordinance that would require all Connecticut bars & restaurants to temporarily close their doors in an effort to curb the growing risk of COVID-19 coronavirus. Many Downtown Bridgeport restaurants are open for pick up, delivery, and curbside service. You can support our Downtown retail offerings by purchasing online. While you can’t get that mani/pedi or shape up today, you can support our service businesses by purchasing a gift certificate or paying ahead for your next service.
